Steve Matta, Pastor
“Pastor Steve” has an extensive background in youth and young adult ministry, missions and Christian Education. He has served as pastor to several congregations prior to coming to Little River in July of 2000. Pastor Steve has Bachelor’s degrees in Christian Education and Business, and received his MDiv degree at Emory’s Candler School of Theology. He is an ordained Elder in the Global Methodist Church. Pastor Steve is married to Julee and they have three adult children: son Alexandru, son James, and daughter Jais.

Jorge Alvarez, Music Director
Jorge has been with Little River for several years now. He is originally from Columbia and is fluent in Spanish and English. He plays piano, percussion, flute, violin, viola, cello, bass, horns, and more! He enjoys composing, arranging, producing, and teaching music, but truly loves performing. He is currently performing with bands around the metro Atlanta area on many weekends throughout the year. Jorge believes that the choir is moving up in performance level and is always excited to begin teaching new music. He is especially proud of the conscious effort everyone is putting forth to always make the music better for not only the listeners but the Lord.

Erin Ruszkowski, Director of Children & Youth Ministries
Erin recently joined the LRMC family, bringing her skills and experience as the Children & Youth Ministry Director! She is married to Andrew, a firefighter with Atlanta FIre and Rescue, and they have three children. We are excited to have Erin on our team – more information to come!
